The inaugural session of the workshop “Opportunities and Challenges for Governorate Councils in the Central Region (Zarqa Governorate)” concluded today, as part of the project “Strengthening Environmental Governance Frameworks in Local Administration Programs for the Governorates of the Central Region in Jordan”, which is organized by the National Center for Environmental Justice NCEJ in cooperation with the Institute International Republican IRI.
The sessions discussions highlighted the challenges faced the councils and also reviewed previous success stories.
