A representative of the National Center for Environmental Justice, Head of the Environmental Justice Studies and Research Department, Dr. Muhammad Rasoul Al-Kilani, met with the Vice-President of the Mafraq Governorate Council, a member of Safawi area, and the Head of the Department of Water and Environment Management at the Hashemite University.

The meeting was held in the building of the Faculty of Natural and Environmental Resources at the Hashemite University.

The meeting talked about environmental affairs, water and ways to preserve them in Mafraq Governorate, and the Safawi area in particular.

Dr. Al-Kilani highlighted the support of the National Center for Environmental Justice for all projects related to water harvesting and the creation of suitable job opportunities for members of the local community in the governorate.

The National Center for Environmental Justice is involved in all environment aspects, and carries a true and honest vision that seeks to concrete the legal role in protecting the environment, including all elements, as the center includes a group of lawyers, experts and specialists in the legal environmental field.
