The workshop on “The Role of the Jordanian Judiciary in Addressing Environmental Crimes (First Level)” was launched today as part of the “Administrative Structuring of the Environmental Justice Sector in Jordan” project, which is organized by the National Center for Environmental Justice (NCEJ) with the support of the French Embassy.

The workshop “The Role of the Jordanian Judiciary in Addressing Environmental Crimes (Level One)” was launched today.
The first session began with a review of a statistical analysis presented by Mr. Mahmoud Naser, Head of the Strategic Development Department at the National Center for Environmental Justice, on environmental issues in the last five years, in cooperation with the Qistas Foundation.
The session was followed with a presentation given by Judge Maher Al-Qadi on the “institutional and legislative framework for environmental protection”, through which he spoke about the various provisions of the law and disagreement according to the region, the legislating authority and the application of the law.
